Hartland, WI \u2013 June 23, 2025:<\/strong>\u00a0Fathom Digital Manufacturing, a premier contract manufacturing partner specialized in complex, high-value manufacturing, is proud to partner with\u00a0Gopher Motorsports<\/a>, the University of Minnesota\u2019s Formula SAE team. As part of this collaboration, Fathom is providing precision-machined suspension components to help bring the team\u2019s 2025 Formula SAE race car to life.<\/p>\n

Formula SAE is no ordinary competition, it\u2019s a high-stakes, real-world engineering challenge where student teams design, build, and race open-wheel, open-cockpit, Formula-style cars. Teams are scored on their vehicle\u2019s performance in multiple dynamic events, as well as on their ability to present and defend their engineering and business decisions. A panel of industry experts evaluates each team\u2019s design choices, technical execution, and overall project strategy, making it an intensive and comprehensive test of engineering excellence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Gopher Motorsports is deep in development for the upcoming competition, which will take place at Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan, from June 16-21, 2025. Over 100 teams from around the world will put their designs to the test in a battle of speed, strategy, and engineering ingenuity. With Fathom\u2019s support, the Gopher Motorsports team will fine-tune and validate their vehicle\u2019s subsystems throughout the spring, pushing their design to peak performance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
